Hair diagnosis
My Current Hair: 2-3cms of Regrowth. Old Highlights. All over Brassie Warmth
My Natural Hair Colour: Light Brown
My Colour Goal: To be Darker, a Cooler Brown. Tone Warmth. Cleanup Regrowth.
Products I Used
I know that my Hair organically leans on the Warmer side and brassiness is a real battle for me, as you can tell in my picture, so I need a Colour that tones my ends and helps me manage it day to day. Knowing all this, my Colour Consultant recommended a Colour mixture of 1/2 x 5 Light Brown, so my Colour was as Dark as I was looking for, with 1/2 x 7.1 Ash Blonde to help deal with my brassy issues and give me a smokey Brunette.
My Application
Following the instructions from my Colour Consultant, Hanna, I mixed 1/2 a tube of 7.1 Ash Blonde with 1/2 a tube of 5 Light Brown.
Tip: Hanna (my Colour Consultant) told me to mix my Colours into a paste before adding my Developer and I can tell you it made it so much easier and cleaner to mix and ensure all the ingredients were properly combined.
I began applying my Colour mix to my Regrowth and continued until I had covered it all. Then I painted my Colour through my ends to darken while tone and give me a seamless Colour until my whole head was covered.
After processing, washing and blow drying so I could really see my Hair I can tell you I am very happy with my Colour creation!
