How To Colour Your Regrowth

When touching up your Regrowth try and keep your Colour to your Regrowth only. Colouring your entire head of Hair every time you Colour will fill your Hair with Colour Build Up.

If you need to refresh the ends of your Hair, use the Colour Top Up Technique to avoid Build Up and keep your Colour fresh.

Pre Colour: Prep your Hair

Wash your Hair 24-48 hours before Colouring to allow your Hairs Natural oils to help bind your Colour and protect your scalp.

Tip: Straighten frizzy or curly Hair for easier sectioning and Colour application.

Before Colouring, comb your dry and Product free Hair until it is tangle free.
Then divide your Hair into 4 Sections.

Choose your application tool:

Step 1: Create a Row

Beginning in either Top Section, guide the pointy end of your Tint Brush through the entire width of the Hair Section to create a row that is around 1-1.5cm thick, leaving the rest of your Hair section behind. Pull the Hair tight to define your working area.

Tip: Create vertical rows in the Top Sections and horizontal rows in the Bottom Sections of your Hair.

Step 2: Apply your Colour

Holding your newly created row, start applying your Colour to your Regrowth as closely to the scalp (without Colouring it) as possible.

Continue until you have completely covered your Regrowth and the entire width of your row.

Tip: Make sure your Hair is covered with enough Product.

Step 3: Repeat

Lift your row up and repeat Step 2 creating a new row to cover with Product.
Continue until you have Coloured all the Regrowth in the Section of Hair. Proceed onto your next Section of Hair, until all Sections and Regrowth are covered.

Step 4: Develop
