Some Hair Colour trends are like gum stuck to your shoe—hard to get rid of. Rose Gold is one such trend, making it essential to master this hue as we head into Spring. We challenged ourselves to perfect our favourite version of Rose Gold, and it quickly expanded into our top 3 Shades.
We're really proud of these Colour results.
What is Rose Gold Hair Colour?
Rose Gold is a unique blend of Warm and Cool tones, featuring subdued Copper or Violet reflects. This versatile colour suits a variety of skin tones thanks to its vibrant yet soft appearance. If Copper tones don’t complement you, Rose Gold offers a muted alternative that might. Sometimes, Rose Gold looks more like a rinse than a full colour, adding character with its subtle, washed-out appearance.

Our 9.3 Light Golden Blonde base makes this Rose Gold Hair Colour light and warm, while a touch of 7.20 Cool Violet adds violet hues to keep it cool. This blend creates a deeper pink Rose Gold hue with just the right amount of punch. Fun and trendy, this Colour is perfect for a temporary change rather than a permanent choice.

The Deep Violet Rose
Try this Hair Colour Mixture: 3/4 x 9 Very Light Blonde + 1/4 x 7.20 Cool Violet.
While not a true Rose Gold due to its lack of warmth, this blend allows Deep Violet tones to shine. Mixed with 9 Very Light Blonde, the result is a light, soft, and subdued colour. It fits the Rose Gold criteria perfectly, offering a fun, carefree Hair moment.
The Rose Copper Gold
Try this Hair Colour Mixture: 3/4 x 9 Very Light Blonde + 1/4 x 7.46 Rich Copper Red.
This is our favourite and a true Rose Gold mix. The blend of these two Colours introduces a hit of Copper, softened by the 9 Light Blonde to create a creamy, peachy, rich pink hue. It's a bit more sensible than the other two Colours, making it a suitable long-term choice.
Our Rose Gold Colouring Suggestions
We’ve crafted these Colours for a softer, glossy look, designed to be mixed with a No Lift Developer. These recommendations are ideal for colouring over Blonde or pre-lightened Hair to achieve the best intensity and results. If applying to darker or brunette hair, expect only subtle Golden, Violet, or Copper hues.
Alert! These Colour’s will fade and become a little lighter with each wash. Keep your washing to a minimum or opt to top up the Colour when you need a refill.
Tip: These Hair Colours will fade slightly with each wash. To maintain vibrancy, limit washing or consider refreshing your Colour as needed.
